We have ridden most of the new crop of bikes out today, and where there are some amazing machines on the trail. We had a few thoughts about the direction mountain bikes were going. We think the reach numbers have gotten just a bit out of control. You can hold a weight up a lot longer with your arms bent then with them out straight like superman, right? So why are our handlbars three feet in front of you, and why are you laying down to pedal up a hill?
We thought long and hard about what was the most fun bikes we had ever ridden, and we all agreed that it was actually our 20" BMX bikes when we were kids. With a 140mm fork, disc brakes, and modern trail geos, something we would have killed for as kids, and a bike you can ride on all day long and still have a great time at every turn!
We wanted to bring the most rideable fun bike to the market, A bike that everyone tells us that once they have it, its a TRUE quiver killer, they park their squishy bike, and walk by it on the way to their Oracle every ride. Nearly everyone of the 180 Oracle owners out there tell us JUST that.

Three wheel sizes, one great ride. Our geometry is engineered to accommodate three great wheel sizes. 27+, 29 and even the Monster Truck 29+. Our adjustable rear drop outs allow for wheel size changes, while keeping the shortest rear triangle possible. We engineered in three different ride characteristics with the 27.5+ wheels.
We kept it short in the rear, and not overly long in the front. We love the long reach idea, but we think it had gone a bit overboard, and we reigned it in. Our reach puts you a bit more upright, a bit more BMX, and a lot more comfortable
Designed to transmit the maximum amount of power from your pedals to the rear wheel, helping keep the front end down on those steep climbs, while keeping the bike playful and fun. Very literally a direct stress path from the rear axle to the head tube .
Our experience in building Superbikes allowed us to build a frame with new to industry technology. Our rear triangle is made from super ovalized tubing that gives the bike a super rigid feeling while climbing and gives a specifically tuned flex when leaned over. Compliant rigidity, in aluminum.
How do you make a frame that gives you the ability to fit a 27.5x2.8 or even a 29x3.5 tire, while still being able to give that super short chain stay (for great climbing) and a rigid bottom bracket, without resorting to gimmicks? A single sided yoke that we custom engineered to make it all fit together.
Boost 148 spacing. Wolftooth Oval Chainring. Short, adjustable chain stays. 35mm x 820 wide bar. 40-50mm stem. Magura Brakes, Stans Wheels, Schwalbe tires. Rockshox Pike fork, Race face Aeffect cockpit. Sram GX Eagle 12 speed. Internal cable routing. Dropper post. 27.5+, 29, and/or 29+ wheel size. Yeah, we equipped it with ALL that, and more!
